  • Best Music to Race/Cruise to

Just wondering what u guys listen to when your driving around or maybe spankin some stangs LoL . Me personally it's two songs for racing "Metallica - Fuel", if you guys never heard this song theirs something wrong with you, the video is just as AWSOME!! and also "Soil - Breaking me down" man when your drving jamin to this your gonna want a vette or something to pull up next to u LoL, if your crusing around taking it easy with the t-tops off or the top down and the sun shining put in some Ac/Dc thats always AWSOME!!too.... Rock N Muscle Cars its always been like that can't imagine racing to rap LoL, dont mean it as a diss but it just doesnt work...(4 me atleast).

i'm sorry (and this is certainly just me voicing my opinion), but Metallica sucks nowadays for the most part. they still have a few good songs here and there, but the vast majority of the crap they've put out there since the "...And Justice For All" album has been just that....crap. "AJFA" was their last good album. there's no way in hell i'd buy any of their new stuff.

now as for what i cruise to.....well, there's a lot of stuff

but recently it's been Mushroomhead's "XIII" album, Korn's "Take A Look In The Mirror", Slipknot's "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)", and System Of A Down's "Toxicity".

I'm with you Rockin', Metallica is excellent cruisin' music. Nothin' better than rippin' through the gears and having Fuel blaring or pullin' up to work with Back in Black playin'. Granted, I also like to cruise the streets bumpin' rap, but some good Godsmack, Metallica, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit and AC/DC always make for good cruisin' music. I'm not a big fan of St. Anger, but its not that bad. That's just my dos centavos.

                    Songs for Autocross!

You should have seen the people on the starting grid when Thomas pulled our black 93Z to the line, at night, parking lights on, playing the Knight Rider theme song! The crowd went absolutely nuts. Then he lit 'em up and the race was on!

I listen to the track announcements on the radio when racing. You hear some interesting things......like when I lined up against a fairly stock LS1 T/A. If i wouldn't have been listening to the radio announcements i wouldn't have know he launched in reverse I was wondering where he was out of the corner of my eye......he caught up at the turn off lane. Whoops!
