When you exhale you breath out CO2. Albeit it is a small amount. If you were to not breath when you ate the 5 lbs of food then yes you would weigh 5 lbs more. The amount exhaled is so small in weight that if you were to weigh yourself on a scale so finely calibrated that it could detect it any movement (ie heartbeat) would throw the measurement off.

In short you would weigh 5 lbs more.

If you weigh 180 lbs and eat 5 pounds of potato chips will you weigh less than if you drink 5 pounds of beer? Not in the short term. Immediately, you would weigh 185. Now the beer is mostly water and the potato chips are mostly air and undigestable preservatives, so you pee out all the water and fart & crap out all the undigestable preservatives and you only gain a few net ounces of weight from the alcohol, carbs & polyunsaurated fats. This weight will be burned off when you go to the grocery store for more beer & chips, so no worries there, OK?
