Well, last fall, I lost the O2 sensor (Driver Side) on the way back from Vegas. I really couldn't do much on the road so I dealt with the horrific rich condition and the cutting out all of the way home and parked it. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I pulled it apart, changed the plugs (black and still wet with gas), and changed the O2. Now, the bummer, I changed the oil...their was over a quart of gas in there and it scrubbed the motor clean. The oil no longer looked like oil. It had the look and texture of freshly brewed Espresso with the fine smell of gas. It makes for a pretty nice dye as well, my funnel was dyed black in some places.
Anyhow, what do you think this did to the bearings? I am sitting here thinking of whether I should just drop the front saddle w/ motor, and rebuild it.
