I was removing the IAC motor from the bottom of the aluminum throttle body and one of the 4mm screws broke at the head. I tried drilling the screw out then the drill bit broke in the hole and was not coming out. I then drilled 5/16 hole about a half inch deep in order to remove all trace of the drill bit and broken screw.
I havent used JB weld much but I mixed some up and filled the larger hole. My intent is to drill and tap the patch to accomidate the new 4mm screw to hold the IAC motor in.
Do you guys think this will work or do I need to get a new bottom for my TB.
Thanks
