NFB People amaze me

I wish I got "shark salesmen". One day after my cutty died i wanted to look at used cars. I went to the dealers hoping to find something that was a "certified" used car. I stood over at the front desk right in front of this guy for 5 mins. It really was 5 mins, i checked my watch every 10 seconds. Finally after some throat-clearing he looked up. The 4 subsequent dealers I went to were the same. Showrooms totally empty of customers and everyone sitting around reading magazines. I was even dressed nice so they couldn't have known how much money I was looking to spend.

On my lunch break today, I pull up next to a '98+ T/A Ram Air and an old lady was driving it. She gave me a thumbs up, lol!

At the dealer i work at, we get this cherry 2000 WS6 A4 in with like 5000 miles on it. it sat in the showroom for all of about a week before someone bought it. I pulled it in the shop to prep it for delivery friday and my service manager comes out and tells me they want door edge guards on it. WHO THE HELL PUTS DOOR EDGE GUARDS ON A TRANS AM?!?!?!

She goes on to say "Well, MINE has the Corvette engine in it".

Am I the only one who absolutely hates hearing someone say they have a corvette engine in their f-bod?

I remember meeting this guy with a 2000 Z last fall. I had to follow him to get to this one girls house I was gonna be at for the night. As I was following him, he was goin extremely fast, and needless to say, blowing away my LT1. We get to a gas station, and I finally introduce myself and give him props on his car (even though he was drivin' like a total idiot), and say how you gotta love them LS1's. He responds by saying its a vette motor and talks trash to me. My buddy in the car with me, who also owns an F-bod by the way, tells me not to even bother with someone like that. I agree and figure its not even worth it.

About 15 minutes later, I'm following him as he's making a turn. He obviously was trying to impress his girlfriend in his car, and the two girls in mine by nailing it on the turn.

Take a guess who swerved out of control, had $1200 dollars worth of damage, and spent the night with a tow company and at a police station for damaging public property...and who made it to the party and had a blast that night...

Hahaha...reminds me when I was getting gas and this lady in a really loud LT1 WS6 pulled up to the pump next to me...she said "hey, nice TA, wanna run?" I said, "sure". She said "But you gotta give me the jump off the line..." I smiled and said "I'll think about it"...she was cute too...should have gotten her number. HAHAHA!!!

i went to the dealer my uncle works for(hes a mechanic there and they had an LS1) so i pull in wit my 88 and two salesmen coming walking out. i knew what was coming. so i just promtly walked over to the LS1 looked at the window sticker(18K!!!! for an automatic 99) looked inside and one was bout to unlock it when i said dont bother, u'll never get 18 for it and walked out. i got a call from my uncle saying that the salesmen says that 18K is a good price for a 1999 LT1 Z28 camaro. me and my uncle just started to laugh

man when me n my dad went to check out the 04 gto's last year we get these 2 salesmen one knew somewhat about wut hes talking about n ofcourse out comes "oh yea this is the ls1 corvetter motor" bam! im like "nah man its not" explain y not n shut him down them im explaining to my dad everything about the car n the guy is quiet looking at me and goes "well i bet u dont know where this car is made at" i mean c'mon pal so laugh and im like dude austrailia... he got quiet... again then we test drive it and hes like yea its really fast right and my dad is like yea its peppy but not wut i expected for the price tag and the guy was shocked then hes like how do u know so much n im like im really into american cars n hes like oh yea i got a 97 trans am with the lt1 corvette motor... that thing moves... then i just had 2.... and i got oh thats kool i got a 67 camaro that im putting an ls1 into.. gwahaha he left to go inside and get something then his buddy shows up and says well the diff between the 04 gto and the 05 is that u cant put a chip into the 05 that will give it 550hp... man i was astounded... just shocked couldnt belive my ears so im just like wow thats kool and we left shortly after that, that guy probably owns a minivan...... poor soul.
