  • What size Gauges?

Hi everyone i want to put some gauges in my 97' Formula. I would like to install them in the heater vents. What size do i need and what gauges should i go with?

The 2-5/8" gauges fit just right in the A/C vents.

I have nitrous pressure, fuel pressure and oil pressure in the vents, and tranny temp and oil temp on the A-pillar.

When you pull the vent "eyeball" out, the resulting opening is exactly the correct size to FIRMLY hold the gauges in place. You make all your connections, then push them into the hole.

In fact, it can be sort of hard getting the 1st gauge back out of the hole. Both my nitrous pressure gauge and the oil pressure gauge have an -AN hose that is routed through a hole I drilled in the ducting. The wires for the lights and the electric fuel pressure gauge pass through the same hole.

They will stay there, mounted solidly.

I put a bronze spacer ring behind mine to make them stand alittle straighter, i had to use the gauge mount hardware but it worked out great.
