The people in the ricers we're talking about are the "posers" more or less. The one's with all show and no go. To be honest, it's more the attitude than it is the car they are usually driving. I would never think twice of pulling next to ANYBODY to initiate a street race. When someone does it, I just have to laugh now.

I seem to remember a 4th gen T/A in my son's IHRA drag racing game for PS2.

Project Gotham ans Sega GT both have new f-bodys, but they do them no justice. They handle ridiculously poorly and on project gotham it os only one step up from a bmw z3.
On another note, i think alaska has the highest per-capita of terrible ricers. However I know more than a couple 12 second WRX's and a few Lancer Evolutions that will eat me up. Even a couple eagle talons and eclipses (not the new style of course) can keep up when they are actually running.
Doesnt stop me from showing them what a good ol' RWD v8 can do that they cant

Yeah, there's actually quite a few games out with 4th gen f-bodies, but they are ALWAYS Camaros. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but a Firebird appearance once in a while would be nice.

The one thing about those 12 second imports... If you or I were to dump just as much money into mods as they did, we probably would no longer be street legal.
