Now I'm confused I didn't say not to keep the parts. The reference to my friend was that he bought an "aftermarket" bumper instead of the stock bumper from Dodge, because it was cheaper. Same thing with his radiator. But the dang things didn't mount up right and he had to return them. Just a pain in the butt.
but obviously some people are just too insecure I guess....
Either have the same opinion as me or your insecure???? People have voiced their opinion on the look (and again I will say they look good, they really do). They look like every new Lexus and Nissan on the road. Where I live, that's a lot of pretty tail lights.
You are now voicing your opinion on other peoples opinion. I am sure the GM designers considered all the options (and looks like they'll change it anyway). Forgive me for liking their first choice more. I'll go outside and have an insecure moment with my obviously inferior tail light style
Good job on the PS though! It gave us a really good representation of the look.

PS $400 with zero performance enhancement, to make the tail lights look better on a brand new top-of-line performance vehicle = rice (Corvette Summer anyone?) There's a strong/insecure opinion for ya.

I wasn't even referring to anyone on this forum, so I'm not too sure why you quoted me?
dont worry bout it yall. remember, I'm a detailing freak and car show nut...tons of trophies over the years. gave up drag racing long time ago. if something needs to be spent on performance enhancement, ill spend it....it proved that with my birds.....
im going to wait and see the lights in person first...to get a better feel.
remember, when you get to my age, life IS short........ you only live once.. i got the money, i paid my dues.
