          That's what I was afraid of. I let a friend drive the car for a day, and this is how I got it back. If he was racing it, he'd never admit it. Oil pressure is great...I wish I had an idea of what he was doing when it happened.

            When I spun a rod bearing, oil pressure stayed good as well.

              Definitely sounds like a rod. It would be smart to rebuild now before the bottom end lets go and possibly damages your block.

              I would also confront your friend.
