I had the Hurst Competition+ for a while... the one without the shift stop bolts. It was OK. I replaced it with the Pro5.0, which was a much beter built, more precise shifter.

I had one of the SLP short throws that came with the T56 out of a 30th SS. It was very similar to the Hurst Comp+, but the top plate was a little thinner, and it required you to reuse the stock shift lever with the rubber bushing on it. Resold it, never installed it.

I think I would be leary of installing anything made by anyone with 5.0 in their name for a chevy. It might suck HP out of my engine or turn my bowties blue or somthing.

I can give you a deal on a SLP Hurst shifter.

BTW you need to update your signature.

I have the SLP in my car now...I don't like it nearly as much as my Pro 5.0.

I had the Hurst a while back...the Pro 5.0 is the best IMHO
