  • intercoolers...???...

Has anyone heard of a company that makes an intercooler or intercooler kit for the powerdyne V6 supercharger? I have heard of shops that will custom fabricate intercoolers, but I would really rather get a intercooler specially made for the powerdyne supercharger. Any information would be greatly appriciated.

I don't know if they make one specific to your needs but Spearco makes a ton of applications and build quality intercoolers.

There is a supercharged v6 thats around here. It's using an front mount intercooler off an old turbo Sabb. It had custom plumbing. If you go used be sure to have the intercooler pressure checked.

There aren't intercoolers specific to a particular supercharger model. There are however IC's that are specific to the type of boost (turbo or supercharger) and how much boost at what CFM. Then you need to consider where you want to mount the intercooler and whether you want an air-to-air or air-to-water IC.

Give ProCharger, Pro Turbo Kits, or Spearco a call.

Bingo. You can also bet that if a company puts together a kit for a particular application, it can be done cheaper by doing it yourself. Measure the location you wish to mount it and start checking all other applications and see what fits. For example, a Ford powerstroke intercooler works great on a buick GN.
