Congrats and welcome. You have now moved into the dark side (I don't know what that means, but for those of us with black cars it sounds appropriate) Have fun and be safe.
285 HP of muscle.
P.S. I luv the color....and am envious of the WS6 a little bit.
It was a 6 w/ the t-tops or nothing... I was extremely firm on those options.
Now, only if my ride would get here so I can put this freakin' deposit down! I'm pacing my house and every so often coming back to post
I know that feeling. I couldn't buy my car until my brother's bank gave me the check for my truck he bought off me. I had a $500 deposit on the car for a week. It was killing me.

Also if this is going to be a all year car you should keep in mind late October you will need a set of winter tires. I live in hamilton and last winter was the first year of my car in the snow and no trubble with 2 bags of 60lbs sand in the back and winter tires. A guy at my work with a v6 was stuck 2 times because he had just normal tires. You will love the car and she looks real nice. Gratz!
94 Formula Firebird, 355, heads port and polished, cc503 cam, 30# injectors, PCMforless Tune, B&M 2400 stall, K&N CAI, BBK Sorty Headers, Magnaflow Highflow Cat, Borla Catback exhaust with electronic cutout.
Word of advice. When you get it, go to a BIIIGGG open parking lot one night, and test it's limits as far as traction goes, and what happens when you break the rear tires loose. Ya know, get on it a bit. Idea is to find out how the car handles, and how to correct it when there's nothing around to hit. You don't want to be on a one lane road lined with cars when you lose traction for the first time.
Do it when it's dry, and in the rain. Two different animals.
Good luck!
I second this....probably the best advice you can give to someone driving one of these cars for the first time. Until I did this, I really didn't know how to drive my car properly, and never had the full confidence that I wanted. Since then, very rarely does my car now surprise me.
Enjoy her man...hopefully she'll be moving in soon

Just got back, got some more pics.. trying to figure out how to get them on the computer now.
Few little rough spots on the car, my dads a bodyman though... So, I'll be getting all the work done for free in the winter
Also, the painter in my dads shop does custom paint jobs for bike's, and when winter rolls around... I'm gonna get something nice done, new decals, two tone... who knows... It'll just cost me paint and maybe a 100 bucks.
A good running bone stock 1997 LT1, T-56, Ram Air, and street tires should normally put down around 265-270 to the tire. This is about 310-315 at the crank.
Either way, very nice car! I love black too. BTW if you don't mind how many miles and what did pick her up for?
There's -unfortunatly- 150km on it (I'm not sure what that is in miles, maybe 120?)... But it's been very well maintened, its in better condition that ones I was looking at with 80k... Mechanicaly she's in real nice condintion. The guy has ALL the service records, he maintened the vehicle real well.
This for me... inst a disposable car, once the engine hits a little over 200 and I'm noticing problem's, I'm gonna put a new motor in.
