Since the project had been sitting for a bit, other priorities have been cleared and Project 93 Cheap thrills is back on track. Thanks to TraceZ with his project to get me off my arse and back into gear.

I've picked up a few more parts at great savings. An SS hood and rear spoiler just to name a few. So time to start turning wrenches again.

Tracy's recent restoration project has put the bug in my ear also. I am going to finally swap out the CSFI injection system on my Tahoe this weekend, do a fuel pump, and detail it until it looks new.

Thanks for making me work all day tomorrow Tracy!

Have you ever tried RIT on the seatbelts and interior fabrics? It works great as well. You can get it in the laundry detergent aisle. I put that directly on the fabric I'm goiong to clean, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then scrub with some hot water and Oxiclean.

I thought RIT was a fabric dye?

They do make a dye, but they also make an awesome product called Super Stain Remover. I had a pair of khaki shorts that had some realy ground in grease stains from working on cars and it got it completely out.

Worked great on my seatbelts in the TA as well.

And here is a more recent pic of project 93 now that the Zaino process is under way. The paint is really starting to look fantastic. Every time I use the stuff I am amazed all over again.

                    • Sans the wheels, that looks awfully familiar

Looks good Joe. Btw, any squeaks or groans when you go over a bump?

Good to hear. I just took all the squeaks and groans outta mine with some ES poly sway bar bushings and end links. Much, much better .

Also, when are you gonna sell me those wheels man? lol

I really don't think you'll want them. The chrome is blistering pretty badly. They run true and look fair from a few feet. I'll be switching them off in the near future, let me know if you really want them.

                              • If you do want them, which really they aren't all that bad, $50 plus shipping and they are yours.
