  • The reason I love this board

I've come to the conclusion that many other boards, paticularly the "other" f-body boards are crammed full of morons that cannot carry on an intelligent conversation. If your opinion differs from someone else, the fray that ensues is nothing short of rediculous.

This board has always been full of good quality individuals that even in disagreement, handle themselves with the utmost courtesy and respect for each other. To belittle is not an option, healthy debate shows that you guys are in a class all by yourself. I am honored to be a part of this board, humbled to be asked to moderate and blown away to be entrusted with admin duties. You guys ( and gals ) are the best out there and deserve a round of applause for your prefessional attitude and comradery. Oh yeah..... almost forgot. Great tech help too!

So that's why I love this place. Why do you love it?

The fact that we can debate some of the non-fbody topics that come up around here and not kill each other over them is amazing, and really speaks volumes about the people here.

I couldn't have said it better. You guys and gals have always helped me out when I needed help even if what I was asking had already been posted.

You didn't get mad at me and call me stupid when I ask questions that are simple!

I thank you all for being kind! Thanks Lee!

The fact that we can have a political debate without being complete (_!_)'s to each other like everywhere else on this planet. The fact that I can come here and gain knowledge on cars and the world posted by intelligent people. The no flaming or spamming rules nicely enforced by the mods/admins.

I like being able to come here and figure out something that's wrong with my car from people who are more experienced than myself saving me time and money. I also like being able to help anyone else out when I'm confident in myself that I am giving the correct information.

Whether it's cars, politics, money saving tips, getting a hook up on discounted gm parts, or any other topic...I know that at these boards I can count on reliable information from you guys. I feel like I have a friendship with you guys although never meeting the vast majority of anyone on this board.

All in all, it's the people that make this a great place to be. The honesty on this board is second to ....something that is quite rare; especially on the internet. I've bought several parts from people on this board and never had a doubt in my mind if I was going to receive the correct part or if it was going to be defected. All of this is due to the people, as well as the mods/admins for weeding out all the bad apples.

Thanks to all you guys for making this a great place to hang out!

I'm glad to hang out here for the exceptional technical help! The fact that everbody conducts themselves in a fashion that they themselves would act in public. I'm also extremely pleased and glad that there are people out their who pay as much attention as I do to these beautiful F-bods, that we've all grown such a custom too.

              Thank you, F-body.com

Also, another big thanks to the admins and moderators on this board, for maintaining the board so well. I doubt the board would be as good as it is, without you guys...

If it weren't for this, i wouldn't have ever found this board. I used to hang around Thirdgen.org a lot but it seemed like every single question i asked, i got attacked! It's like they can sense teenagers and younger guys from a mile away, then they attack them. I love this board because everyone is friendly, no matter how stupid the question may be and no matter how inexperienced someone may sound. Everyone here is willing to help.
