      Personally, I wouldn't run that boost without using at least 100 octane. The stock heads and pistons are good for N/A on pump gas and over 4 psi without additional octane is just askin' fer it. Stock heads are restrictive and contribute to the higher boost. Better flowing heads and you wouldn't be able to do that so easily. Run it with good gas and my bet is your dip will go away.

        I would remove the nipple from the intake manifold and screw in a NPT plug. You can get them at just about any hardware/fastener store.

        There is so much to type on the subject of going with a MAF or speed density tune using the VE table to manually add the aditional fuel required by your boost signature....so I did a search on ls1tech.com and this is a fairly informative thread. turbolx has a good grasp on the options of tuning.
