  • LT1 Clutch Kits

Hey guys, just want to hear ya'lls opinion on what brand of Clutch kit I should choose and Where I can find a good price for them. Also, do you think I should go ahead and get a new flywheel too? Or would it be ok to get it machined?

Ditto on Raro's comments. I did the same and have nothing but praise for Spec.

I'd go for SPEC also. I have the SLP but have already noticed that with just a Borla catback and a ramair intake it does not always grab as well as I'd like.

I wish I had a SPEC level II. I hear the level III can be a bit too grabby for normal comfortable street use.

I found Spec kits on Ebay:
          Stage 1 for $379
          Stage 2 for $444
Are these good prices? Is there anywhere else I could find these?

Thanks for the help so far guys. I appreciate it.

Ebay is the best. I bought mine from "Treperformance" I would recommend him highly. Fast shipping and the best price. I think I paid $489 out the door for my Stage III.

I would go with the stage 2 unless you plan on making a lot of power later on. The stage 3 sucks for the first few days but once it's broken in, it's not much different than a stock clutch, and the fact that this clutch can hold about 700 ft lb's and feel this light is amazing. I am very happy with it.
