water passages next to header bolt hole?

    You could always pull the head and a machine shop could fix the hole in a snap.

      One point for drilling is to use tapping fluid. You will be amazed at how much a diffenace this makes in drilling and even taping hard material.

        Also if you know a welder that is good at welding aluminum they can reweld the hole and retap it to 3/8-16.
