OK, on a panel like the front bumper or rear berger (the plastic like stuff) should I wet sand or dry sand? I have 1000 and 2000 grit paper, should I start with 1000 then go to 2000?

I'm making a black berger. I ended up starting with 600 (wet) then put the primer coats on. Looks good so far, I'm debating whether or not to sand the primer before the black coats.'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
