9/11 Question

At first I wanted to add my comment to the 9/11 We shall never forget! thread. But then I decided to start a new one.

Today was truly a sad anniversary for horrible day that happened 2 years ago. I cannot imagine how it would feel if I had a loved one in a plane or one of the buildings and not knowing where and how they are. If you lost someone how do you cope with your loss?

Don't know how I would. Like many of you, I would be enraged and would like to kill all these sick people that do acts like that.

Here's what got me questioning the behaviour of people:

Yesterday morning I was watching one of the news shows where they had people on that lost a loved one and are now trying to sue the airlines for negligence. I also found following link where a judge openend up the door for law suits

Why are they doing that? Do they think it eases their pain by "extorting" money from companies which go into bankrupcy and therefore have to lay off thousand of people?

They feel better, do they?. But what about the people without a job and no way to feed the familiy. Who do they blame?

To me it sounds like Americans are hurting Americans in their own country. Doesn't sound very united to me.

I can whole heartedly agree.

Here's one that will make ya'll think. I hear all of the rhetoric on here and other boards about the F-Body vs Mustang or Ford vs Chevy. One side bashes the other. You can even through the ricers in the mix. But after an event like 9/11 and countless other atrocities committed by some wacky Muslims against us, maybe it's time for us all to put aside our differences and join together as Americans.

Greedy people who smell an opportunity to cash in on the tragic loss of a loved one and liberal judges who think that big companies are bottomless pits for punitive damage settlements. Let's not forget the opportunistic lawyers who make it all possible. The sad part is the capability of these types to transfer blame and turn it into cash, as if that could erase the loss of life. Notice, that it is always cash.

Little Johnny digs a hole & crawls under a fence to play in a sand pile at a construction site. Because he has munched too many paint chips off the windowsill, his room temp I.Q. causes him to dig a hole and smother himself in the sand pile. The parents become millionaires from the suit against the construction company who was found negligent from not securing the construction site properly against intruders. No one asks where the mother and father was during all of this - why they weren't watching their little prodigy...Money makes them feel better, and transfering the blame to someone else makes them feel better.

Jeffery Dahmer drugs, head drills, & makes a love zombie out of a gay street kid who agrees to pose for nude photos for a few $$s, then kills & eats the loser. The low-life relatives come out of the woodwork to collect on their poor dead kid. Where the heck were they when the kid is hanging out on the corner to be picked up by strangers with evil intentions? The relatives smell cash. They sell their dignity and their souls for it.

There are far too many money hungry bastards now a days. These people are a bunch of sell outs and cowards for turning such a tragedy into a financial gain. The integrity and honor of these kinds of people disgusts me.

This is why we need to support our president. He has integrity. He is honest. He is trying his best. History will recall him as the first man with the guts to stand up to the trash of this earth. (not the first man to get a BJ in the oval office and defile the integrity of the presidency) This is WORLD WAR 3 we are fighting. Our enemy hates us religousely and wants us dead at any expence, suicide included. If our enemy gets a nuclear device, they WILL use it on our soil. Why are so many "Americans" trashing George?? This war and its commander-in-chief NEED to be supported! So many democrats are so confused. Their political agendas and struggles for power are taking presidence over national security issues. It is just plain ANTI AMERICAN, they should be ashamed of themselves. It is one thing to present conflicting opinions and differing solutions, but to just sit on your hands and name call is disrespectfull and unprofessional.

LOL. You weren't spinning. I totally agree with you. I listen to Bill every day and try to watch him at night. I have to stop watching Hannity and Colmes because I get so aggrivated that I can't go to sleep. I have learned that common sense isn't so common.

I don't know anybody who was lost in any of the 911 events. But when they shut down the air traffic and searched the planes, they found about a half a dozen box cutters on an airplane that had taxied out to take off but had to return here in Atlanta. I have no doubt, it was bound for a local target. My guess is the new federal reserve building they just built here. It is right down the street from where my wife works. If the FAA had not stopped air traffic when it did, it would have been worse.

Just imagine where we would be right now if a republican hadn't got elected in 2000. I would bet the Z that we would be morning the loss from several other acts of terror here in the US. God help this country if Bush doesn't get re-elected.

Thats right. Bush has ESP, knew 9/11 was coming and intentionally did nothing to stop it. It's all a big pre-meditated conspiracy to get free oil. He is a evil man that lies to us and wishes to keep us in the dark.
Actually, I bet he paid those terrorist to fly into the towers so he could use it as an excuse to attack!!
