    If Saddam didn't have weapons of mass destruction, What was that chemical he sprayed on the kurds and on Iran that killed all of them.

    Oh and I have another question, The article says;

    "9) Top military spokesmen say cutbacks caused a reduction in the number of bases "on alert," (from 100 to 7 since 1990) meaning that intercepts had to come from a greater distance, (General Richard Myers, Senate confirmation hearing).

    From 1990 to 2001, who was in the white house? 1994-2000 was Bill. Tom Daschle sponsored a bill to cut the CIA by 8.5 billion dollars. He also co-sponsored a bill to cut several dozen air force bases. One of them was Dobbins AFB here in Atlanta but they had to keep the base open because there is a major Lockheed plant there that builds C130s and the 2 proto type F22s. So they changed it to a reserve base and moved the F15 squadron to Robbins AFB south of Macon.

    Here is another one that is a bit distorted (spun) to make it sound worse than it is.

    "12) Military spokesmen describe the planes from Otis as flying "like a scalded ape." "Over 500 mph." Yet according to the American Federation of Scientists, the top speed of the F-15's (from Otis) is 1800+ mph. Though this top speed is rarely achieved with the full weight of fuel and weapons, the Otis planes actually fly at less than half their achievable speed."

    Yes the top speed of an F15 is about mach 2.5 but that is in full afterburner at about 45,000 feet. In full after burner, an F15 can suck a 250 gallon drop tank dry in 45 seconds. With 2 drop tanks at full throttle and afterburner, you have about a minute and a half of fuel than you had better be looking for a tanker or an air strip. A pilot has to manage his available fuel with what he has to do. At full throttle without an afterburner, it will do about 650 mph at sea level. Just like your car, the fuel mileage goes down as the throttle goes down. I'm not sure of the range of an F15 but an F18 has about a 350 mile range in gas miser mode. They really have a sucky range. I think an F14 is around 800 miles per tank. Both are that around 350 miles per hour though.

    Granted there are some things in that article I would like to question too but just looking at it makes me wonder. It is obviously copied from several places and pasted. The font keeps changing and there are several misspellings for a published article.

    Oh and for the record, I am a Libertarian nad I have some issues with Bush and his spending.
