    theirs alot of stuff here to remove but alot mybe not worth it. I hear the sound deadining uder the carpet removes 35lb.
    2000 trans am auto, Afr 205,tr 220/220 112, mti lid, 160t,umi sfc,hooker headers and ory y,loud mouth. bellow,pr's,harland rockers,new lifters,ls6 oilpump,rollermaster doubler roller, msd wires.

      For what it's worth, when I first pulled the carpet in my 97 TA, I folded it up and stood on a scale with it in my arms (ackward!) and subtracted what I weighed by myself. The carpet and backing together weighed 33 lbs. The little rectangular sections of sound deadening material that are adhered to the body sheet meatal are fairly heavy though.
