      I have decided not to get it... Im going to save up and bu one in a few months..thanks guys you helped in my decision alogn with some hard thinking.. Its just soo damn tempting lol..its a gorgeous car on the outside runs great but i know i probably wont even get two years out of it..THANKS BUNCHES!!

          the car would probably only make me happy for a lil while...when the repairs started adding up i wouldnt too happy lol...:-D it was nice to drive it though vroooooooom...the shift kit def threw me in the seat lol...good things come to those who wait

            the rear end could deceide to puke a bearing and/or gears, it might need brakes, i really dont wanna make a list since ur not sure of it urself and i dont want u 2 get too parnoid but wait cuz u kno when u get the one u think u get a deal on, a 00 with 80K ttops, etc comes around for 8 grand and ur left kicking ur self. thats one lesson i learned, wait deals are out there

              yea you did make a point with it being pretty much the only thing around thats what pushed me onto mine im not saying it was a bad thing i love my car but when i found mine i didnt even have my license yet and i found it 200 miles away but i knew i should do it, its a 00' trans am 6 speed w/ 50k on the clock, i got it for 12,800, i say go with it if it feels right and take people who know alot! about cars it was 4 mechanics on my trip(my b/f me and our 2 friends) i was ok with it and once they said yea i jumped on it lol

                Well, I hate to admit it, but the older guys have been around long enough to have worn out a few cars, and we see the stuff that goes wrong with them and after a while you just know what's going to happen and when. Some of us are also engineers, and we design stuff and we know that, first, we have to make it work, then we need to cut cost & make it cheap! It is all meant to last a reasonable amount of time, then it becomes the problem of whomever has it in hand at the time it gets the flesh-eating virus. I hate like hell to step on your buzz about getting a new car, but I know I'm doing you a favor by asking you to hang in there a bit until you can get a newer one that will give you a better service life.

                  Theres one on ebay on watching right now lol..If i could get the guy to go down to like 5,500 i may actually take it...but if not..forget it :-D...
