u might be able to get it from GM otherwise i dont kno where else? whats it for? if its for a 3rd/4th gen f-body drop a t-56 tranny in, they are much better then a t-5

I don't think the T5 is made anymore. Tremmec bought Borg Warner's transmission division several years ago and I think the Tremmec 3550 replaced it. I'm not sure which model number would replace the T5. You might find that infomation here. http://www.5speedtransmission.com/ Your other choice is rebuilding your used one or buying a used one and having it rebuilt.

Not too sure about 3rd gens but 4th gens need quite a bit of work to get a t-56 to work not to mention that it'll be slow as hell out of the hole (unless you have around the power of a v8) because 1st gear is so much longer in the t-56 as compared to the t-5.
