That's the maximum amount of weight the car can hold, including itself. So say the car weighs 3,400lbs and the number on the door said 4,200lbs (not sure what that's called), it can hold another 800lbs between passengers, luggage, etc.Red 95 Trans Am: M6, Moroso CAI, Magnaflow, Spohn sway bars, back to life as of 2/15/10!!!
