I just had new o2 sensors put in and took the hypertech promgram out of the car and it still failed miserably. I have long tube headers, but i believe there street legal, they have all the emmissions stuff necessary. I still have a cat and i just did a tune up no more than 5000 miles ago and did a new opti about 500 ago. I've also replaced my egr valce recently? I was wondering if maybe wait a week to have it recalibrate itself, put some good gas in it and some additives. Think that'll work?? or any other ideas??

With long tubes, they move the position of you cats. Which is illegal. So if they did a visual inspection, then you probably failed. I would guess you either have to put you stock manifolds back on, get it inspected, then put the long tubes back on....or go with mid-lengths.
good luck either way you go2006 Saturn Ion Redline

I'd be more inclined to blame the cats..... high HC is generally produced by a rich mixture, but a rich mixture will reduce NOx. NOx comes from a lean mixture. High HC and high NOx would appear to be related more to a weak or failed catalytic converter.Fred
