Glad you got it running and that it sounds good.
That's standard equipment for a garage. Mine has a Fridge, TV/VCR/DVD, stereo, couch and A/C for when the heat gets too much.

Yup, the mini fridge makes it all a bit easier! And yes, they were tight fitting. I had to use a block of wood and a hammer to "lovingly tap" the drivers side headers up into place. The clearances there are really tight.

Those pics look good Tracy. I see what you mean about those wires, though. Short term they may be OK, but you should consider rerouting them away from the headers in the future or they may eventually char.

On a few long tube conversions I did for friends, I loosened the aluminum loom that holds the abs wires to the chassis, I slid the connector and wires under the loom and covered everything that was exposed with the thermal shield. It has held up for at least 5+ years with no problems. That thermal shielding works great!

Joe, I believe that's what I did too, but I just can't remember due to the massive quantities I consumed after I was done to dull the pain and the fact that it was 6 years ago when I did it. I do know, however, that I really don't have any wires near the headers like Tracy does, except for the inevitable spark plug wires & boots which are crowded in there in a couple places - mostly 5 & 7.

I didnt see an aluminum loom on my car to loosen. The wires are in conduit, wrapped in reflective tape and fairly loose. They are secured to the car with a plastic snap ring.

                      It's finished!

I took it to the muffler shop today and had them weld 3" flanges on the cat and y-pipe. It bolted up and sounds awesome! The cat is not welded hard onto the y-pipe, so it can be easily removed/replaced. They guy that did the work took a lot of time to make sure that the flange was done right. It won't inhibit flow. The flange itself is actually larger than the y-pipe and cat.

I'm very pleased with the sound. I'll put it up tonight and look over all my insulated wires to make sure everything is happy. I'll snap some pictures of the cat installation too.

My setup looks a lot like that Tracy. I also used a 3 bolt flange right there and it seems to work fine, but there's some limited clearance for the bolts since everything's so tight.
