Craig came over today and we went at it like gangbusta's lol. All she needs is the dipstick secured, the Y-pipe adjusted and the new cat welded on. So, she goes into the shop on Mon. to be buttoned up...then back on the prowl .
Congrats. Now for the recovery period.

Oh geez, too many man lol. I'd say, probably around, oh...about 32 or so spread across 7 days of actual work. I did take my time though. I wanted to make sure everything was done right, not fast. I know you remember that all too well lol

I was just going to say the exact same thing! He must of fallen asleep under the car on his creeper and let time slip by. Those creepers can be pretty comfortable!

I believe it took me about 10 hours total from disassembly until completion. It could have been a little less if it weren't for rest and food breaks. That includes the aftermarket Y pipe and Mufflex cat back installation.

Probably needed time to let the garage air out-

Oh blah blah blah you guys lol. Besides, having to do the motor mounts at the same time added into it, plus figuring out how to get the Y-pipe out since the flanges on the Y and the studs on the manifold were bent (thank you very much whoever over-torqued the nuts for the Y-pipe) added a little extra time. Sheesh, I get no love here, I swear lol

As of 2 PM today, she's back on the road. Got the cat installed and everything. She sounds great, pulls hard, feels awesome. And the ES mounts are hardly noticeable...only a slight extra vibration at idle, nothing else above. I can't say enough how good it feels to drive it again.

Big thanks to this board (last minute searches here saved my butt numerous times lol) and esp. to Craig for the help.

Well, everyone should know that I only helped with 10 hours of labor including lunch, breaks and picking up tools, so I had no part in the delay

I'm glad she's back up and running. Doing the mounts and headers before. with lesser clearance!, previously helped this install. Can't wait to hear it

Now I realize that everytime someone does an exhaust, we ask for a sound clip and most of the time it sounds like the last one but, we Need a sound clip!!!
