I agree - those ones Kevin posted do look nice. That's not what I'm seeing around here, though - living in the Midwest, styling is the last to get here. Pot holes are also everywhere and I can't imagine driving around with a 2" thick tire.
The point about big brakes is a good one. My brakes looked puny and ugly just from going to 17s, so I'm sure they would look awful if you put larger wheels on there and those little grey rusty brakes were easy to see.
