I got the 383 in tonight finally.I had a quick question regarding the oil pressure.The engine was broken in on a dyno before i got it so it was all ready and the oil pump was primed.The car started up on the third try.The oil pressure gauge showed zero pressure for about 3-5 seconds and the valve train was staring to get noisy.I turned the car off and restated,the oil pressure shot up to 60-70.The motor runs and sounds great and the oil pressure is strong now.My question is there any chance there may be some premature wear on the engine now.There had to be atleast a film of oil left from the break in and i had it topped off with oil too.Its not like i can do anything about it but i was just curious of what you guys thought.

Without a re-prime, there isn't much you can do. Doubtful that anything is damaged. One or two seconds at idle won't do much.
