The power steering cooler that came on some F-bodys was an oil-to-coolant cooler- it was a device that circulated power steering fluid through a coupling in the upper radiator hose- not a seperate radiator like on the Caprice police cars- I have the RPO code around for it some where, it is in the parts ,pdf file that is kicking around the internet.
2001 Z28 A4 - 160 deg t-stat, 3.42 gears, WS6 sway bars, rear springs and shocks, UMI SFC's, Torque Arm and STB, leather Firebird seats, Borla, SLP Y-pipe and lid, ZO6 cam and springs - 332 RWHP and 346 RWTQ, not bad for 'almost stock' - work in progress

I'd like to check it out. Give me a page and item number so I can take a look.

          Do a search for a file called : 93-02 Camaro Parts ManualB.pdf

It was RPO V12, COOLING SYSTEM, POWER STEERING FLUID, using part number 2-N21, with a couple of different couplings and parts- It is listed as an export part, but it has been on all the B4C's (several) that I have looked at.

Not sure where I found the service manual, one of the enthusiast's sites- I THINK I downloaded it from WS6.com

I see it listed in the radiator hoses section of the parts book. I was looking in the steering hoses section. I knew there was something, because I had heard people refer to it. I've never looked at one in person. The LT1s did not have anything like that.

Apologies if I should start a new thread (and will do so if asked to) but which Camaro front is more aerodynamic: the '97-back or '98-on? Are the nose, fenders, hood swap-able?

I believe the difference in aero was negligable. I've seen 0.33 to 0.338 for the 93-97 model.

The parts you mentioned can be swapped out, but it's a bit pricey and more work is required above trading fenders, front clip, and hood. See the other recent thread on this board.

Not a biggie, but I get the login screen there and then it rejects my login.

Except for the headlights, the '98-on nose does look kind of '60's Jag XKE/ Maserati-something though neither has a piece of fluted black plastic jammed in their nose.

Well, anyway, lol, I just picked up a LS1 B4C and what a gas at speed even with rumbly all season RSA's. Did get a 'service engine soon' light and the seller said it is probably the O2 sensor but aren't there like 2 of them?

Get it scanned and don't guess what the problem is.

Will do. Searched site, Freescan, etc, great info! Thanks much for advice lately.

Edit: oops, Freescan OBDI only. Found OBDII links, though.

You can get an OBD-II code (only) scanner for as little as $40. Try the Harbor Freight online catalog. For full scan capability software, AutoTap is good for OBD-II. Also the Virtual Dashboard, for example, or Auterra for Palm, etc.
