Its just like a HOnda, Just imagine two engines side by side. This is The Same Exact Engine you have. The only difference is, this LT1 has headers.

I'm not trying to be rude, but do you have some experience in working on engines? You stated "Stock Headers," Are you referring to the Exhaust Manifolds? You can go with headers, for somewhere around $400. I would think if the previous owner had all those Mods, I would think he would have put some headers. Some headers Can Rust If they are not Coated or painted. Are they Tubular? To do Headers, You need to have some good understanding of mechanics.

not that much experience put on a exhuast with my dad , coldair intake myself and a header with my uncle everthing (honda) the rest i had my friend do at a local shop but he moved, my header on my honda was chrome, theres a cover over most of the header, with a tube(pipe) connected to the header that goes through the cover?the headers are exactly where the ones in the pic are,the cover still being on leads me to believe there stock, the lt1 engine bay is way more cramped , my hondas had alot more room, id have a shop put on the headers but i want to do the plugs myself or try thanks

From what I have observed, you have led me to believe, you do not have very much experience with cars. Intake is, on a scale from one to ten (ten be the hardest) is a 1. You need to do alot of research. You came to a good place man. When I used to race my Honda, I had guys left and right Saying what they had but not one did the work themselves. Thats what seperates them from us. Over 80% of the poeple on here know just about everything about they cars and what they have. You can learn alot on here man. You have to realize that The stock exhaust (things that are connected to the heads are called exhaust Manifolds, not headers. Headers are tubular pipes not Cast Iron like what the average car comes with. Here is a little picture of what im talking about. I mean Ask away man. We are here for information, but Use the seach engine on the forum as well. I used to have a 95 Civic 4 door with a 1.5 SOHC. It was decked out and everything. It pulled harder than ur average B18, but the less it was a 4 banger. If you got an F-body to show off, you for it for the wrong reason man. Alot of us Take Pride it these cars. All the work we put into them. Im only 21 and have well over 200 hours of hands on experience on F-bodys, and i have only owned one for about 7 months. I would always work on my brother Maro or my buddies Maro, and all that good stuff.

Yeah, I never ran Vtec. Never needed too. I was running a JG cam and racing valve springs. Naw, dont feel stupid bro, We all need to start somewhere. I see ur about a month old than me so you can still learn alot. ha ha ha ha. You post pictures By hosting them. Use Photobucket.com or some Image hosting website. You should be fine.Just remember, with 4 Bangers, Its all about making more power, With these Cars, Its more about being able to harness that power and apply it to whatever application your going for, weather is be Auto-cross or Drag. It all depends, I learned that pretty quickly.

Dang. That sucks. It was a weird Track, It seemed like it was downhill, and when you got in line, it was all dirt. Not the greatest Track. I'd take LACR over Carlsbad any day.

My '96 Z did sort of the same thing before it was wrecked. It was shaky up until about 2,500 RPM and had a very bad vibration at highway speeds. Ended up being bad plugs and wires and an O2 sensor was out. That fixed all of the shaking.
