the problem is getting worse, at first it was mostly in 6th now its in 3rd and 4th ,in 6th the car will not shake if i keep a steady speed ,but if i try to accelerate the car and stick shift shake real bad, im pretty sure the car was left alone for the 2 days , the car starts up and idles fine, the shaking tends to happen more under 3000 rpms, the car still takes a long time to warm up , the car does drive smoothly 50/50 but is getting worse thanks. (Conelite tried to do sig there was a erorr, said a email is being sent to staff, 1995 firebird formula ws6 clone)

pull couple plugs and check the gap on them, also take a spray bottle and spray the wires(with all the spark plugs in ) and start it up. if the wires are no good, the water will make them arc. if they are good the wires arent u problem.

also on a side note. that optispark is a fussy lil unit. DO NOT get too much water on it or u can kiss it good bye

I used to play ALOT of Rainbow 6 on my computer Back in the day's of highschool. I was Elite at that game. Now I never play. I used to play America's Army all the time as well. I never got into game consols. My brother and I build our own gaming computers and play. Its alot cheaper to upgrade a computer than keep buying PS3 of XboX 360.

on my hood theres a small gap on along one side (by the flip light going up)wide enough for me to almost stick my index figure through, do u think this is a big problem when it rains, maybe something got wet(after market ram air hood)

Doubt it. My money is still on the opti. Even though it was just replaced, just the smallest amount of water on it can mess it all up.

                              I'm 11-30-85.

If you're going to do a power adder I would recommend saving your money and getting an ATI set-up I absolutely love mine.

If you're talking about fixing your car back to "factory settings" then it's not that bad in pricing to fix. Yes you're right labor will kill you. But if you're going to start modding the car alot you're looking at some big bucks depending on how extreme you go. I'm into my car about 21K now in the last 8-9 months from modding it. And I haven't even touched the rearend or suspension. I do EVERYTHING myself aside from machine work too. So if you're planning on doing modds. Make sure you have the money to do it and do it right the first time. Just my .02.
