Very True. Me and some buddies built up a honda about a year ago and we would rev that thing up to 9K no problem. It was forged and Titanium Double valve springs. Pulled a high 13. Under 2000Lb with driver. But with my car, Never go past 5600rpm's. And Normal daily driving, Always shift under 2k. (Save gas)

thanks for the input guys!! my car doesnt' have a speed limiter, cause i've been to 140 before. well, i hate turning 5500 in my car, i raise hell and all that, but i keep my stuff right, but people has been telling me that the only way to get power out of them is to run them hard, i got a couple of friends that has a 01 formula, and the othere has a 94 Z, the Z has a 4.10 gear and some other tuning, and the 01 is all stock (they raced by the way and the formula won!) they hit there rev limiters all the time, the guy with the Z used to "ping" his off the limiter in nutral, just sitting there turning the hell out of it. but everyone says that i will hit it alot with my gear (4.10). is that true??????????????? and again, thank you all for the info!!

Read what Fred posted. Its not that you don't have a speed limited, its that its set to 255mph.

Whether or not you hit the rev limited is determined by you. How fast you get there is a different story. With 4.10 gears, your revs will climb faster, yes. But, if you pay attention, you won't hit the limiter hardly at all, if at all.

Depends on the set-up of the engine. I plan on going higher but i built it to reach around 7K. But then again I haven't got it on the dyno tune to see my peak power, so I might not have a need to go that high, who know's.

Who said that???? What was said is that the speed limiter is not removed, simply set to the highest value possible in the PCM. That does not mean the car will hit 255. The stock top speed is around 157, if memory serves me correctly, for those with the performance gear option.

With stockish power levels, the cars hit an aerodynamic wall at around 157. It takes serious power to increase top speed.

people and everyone need more education. You don't have to run these cars hard to get performance, it's called torque. You also won't hit the rev limiter all the time if you learn how to shift correctly.
