Hey guys. I have to extend the o2 wires on my 93z. Is it okay to extend the wire at the sensor rather than cutting the main feed and extending it. I read something about this before but searched without any luck. So sorry if i'm beating a dead horse.

Do not cut the wire on your 1993 single-wire O2 sensors (all later year engines use 4-wire heated sensors). Cut ONLY the harness wire. Solder the connections.
You may have to convert to 3-wire or 4-wire heated O2 sensors if relocating the sensors farther away from the engine causes them not to heat up enough to function correctly.Fred
