What would I have to change to put a 12 inch rotor on a 1995 Trans am. I am pretty sure it has stock 11 inch rotors and i am hoping to use parts off of my uncles 99 camaro to put some 12 inch cross drilled and slotted rotors? Any help would be great

If you are talking about putting LS1 brakes on your LT1 it's not hard. Here is a picture I took when I did mine. LT1 left LS1 right

The parts you see is what you will need except the brake lines will not mount to the bracket on the frame. You can either drill out the brackets so the LS1 hoses will mount or you can get a set of Earls stainless steel lines. It's worth the upgrade too. You will also need a front end alignment when you are done. You will need a ball joint and tie rod splitter. I used a 2 prong gear puller.2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning

Jeff 95 Z28,
I am also in the process of doing the LS1 brake conversion. I have ordered parts from Tenessee Auto and am about to order rotors, pads and lines.
On the subject of Earl's Stainless lines I will need to get a kit designed for an LS1 like this one correct?
Are the lines for the rear the same for LT1 and LS1 vehicles?
Do I need anything special since I have TC?
Thanks.My DD

One more thing about using SS lines. They don't expand when you press on the brake pedal. They make for a very firm pedal. Be careful when you get in to drive a car without them. The pedal will travel further before the brakes start slowing you down. Then you get used to it and get back in your car with them and you almost throw yourself through the windshield. I think I am going to put some one my wife's PT Cruiser.2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning
