    Why not let Warren Johnson help you out. This motor is fully compatible with all the LS series heads, covers and cranks. This is what I would run if I had the money.

      It's all about weight. At 2,800#, you'll need to be making about 830HP at the flywheel to break into the 8's (8.99). Going mid-8's will take closer to 1,000HP. Cut the weight to 2,600# and you're looking at 775HP to hit 8.99 and 930HP to run mid-8's.

      Is it just me, or have they completely given up teaching spelling and grammar in our public schools?
