Look in the "How To's" section of my Tech Page. There is info on how to remove and install a cam.Rob B 95Z A4 Tech Page (Part numbers / locations, how to's, schematics, DTC's...) Home Page - shbox.com

that awsome man, thats a huge help, having said that, what would be the best cam for my basically stock ls1, (Crane cams 1500-6000 216/224 .551/.551) (trick flow 2,000-6000 2.16/220 .560/.560) or ( comp extreme 1,800-6,000 222/224 .566/.568) Now im not just talking about the power, but the compatibility to my basically stock engine, if i can use the extreme cam, witch seems to be the best, then i would go for it, im just not sure if its too much, or what other parts that would require me to get.[COLOR=Navy]2000 Navy Blue Trans Am, T Tops, Automatic, Ram Air, Slp 85mm Mas, Air Lid, Smooth bellow, Hooker 1.75 Lt's, ORY, LM1, Air/EGR delete, Throttle body coolant bypass. do you want a cam that's going to work with the stock computer chip or are you going to have the car tuned once you do the cam swap?of those cams you listed will work with the stock computer tune.

look into custom grinds. If you're going to put a cam in, you may want to port the heads and put new valvetrain in. You're also going to need headers on there.97 Chevy 'Raro Z28 M6- Ported & Polished LT1 heads,beehives,1.6/1.94 valves, 226/231 custom cam,K&N FIPK, 94-95 BBK shorty's,ORY,Magnaflow Catback,no cats,BMR LCA Relocation Brackets,Lower Control Arms,Adjustable Panhard Bar,Eibach Pro Kit,SPEC Stage 1,Walbro 255 Fuel Pump,30LB Injectors,Pro 5.0,Short stick,MSD 8.5's,NGK TR55's,LT4KM

well im running on a serious budget, cuz soon im going to be pouring my money into a real racecar. that cam that i said should fit in with the stock stuff, and yes, headers and a full exaust are on the way. If i had the money, i wouldnt even be using the stock heads at all. And when you say custom tune, cant you custom tune stuff with a power tuner?[COLOR=Navy]2000 Navy Blue Trans Am, T Tops, Automatic, Ram Air, Slp 85mm Mas, Air Lid, Smooth bellow, Hooker 1.75 Lt's, ORY, LM1, Air/EGR delete, Throttle body coolant bypass. shiza, ok anyone with an LS1 for the cam install help, at the track today i noticed everyone launched so much harder but i pulled on them hard at the end i was over 105 mph, i dont wanna change the gear cuz my reaction times are good where they are now, i just wanto be able to go like 112-114 mph and ill be totally set, i think a cam and full exaust will do it.[COLOR=Navy]2000 Navy Blue Trans Am, T Tops, Automatic, Ram Air, Slp 85mm Mas, Air Lid, Smooth bellow, Hooker 1.75 Lt's, ORY, LM1, Air/EGR delete, Throttle body coolant bypass.
