I have a Borla. Pricey, but the best. Best mod on my car, easily...

Well, the flowmaster will eventually rust out in a snow/salt state.

Mine lasted 6 years (which I think is reallllly long for a fm) but I also kept it painted with black high temp paint each spring. So it rusted inside out.

I've seen them rust out in 2-3 years if you drive all winter, so it's something to consider.

That's a really good deal. I paid $328 shipped for mine.

Unlike what was stated above, LT1's sound much worse than LS1's. I've had both and know from experience. I hated the sound of my Flowmaster system. I really liked the Hooker setup but wasn't pleased about having another system that would corrode and look awful. That's what led me to the Magnaflow system about 1 year ago. I love it. The tips really suck but I just bought some Pypes dual/dual double walled stainless tips that come on their Corvette systems. I'm putting them on my LT1Formula using Borla stainless exhaust tubing for the tailpipe.

LS1's are so smooth running and refined that you can put nearly any exhaust on it and it will sound great. The run and perform much more efficiently.
