I'm back ! Mad Mick is back, as usual with Qus :

1/ Tires - what is best bang for the buck ?
17" wheels 275 / 40 / ZR17

Why do I need them ?? - because I did a track day at Talladega Grand Prix Raceway ..1.3 mile road course, great little place.
....you quickly learn that the car ['98 WS-6 M6] will do a lot more than your brain is telling you is "safe" ....a blast, and I did good, but I need some instruction on smoooooth and fast !

2/ Still looking for dashboard top replacement info and pricing from someone ! help !

3/ I loved the Ford GT "Clarkson" piece posted yesterday ....he was not an F1 driver, but very experienced auto journalist / celeb, becuase he is so funny, outspoken and honest !

4/ sorry to see Gordon is selling his road racer ! And Yes I did finally get my car lowered with Eibach Pro-Kit ...I am very happy with it !!

Yep Tiff Needell who track tests some of the cars had a brief flirtation with F1.

Another vote for SZ50EP's.... I feel safe and confident riding in the rain, and all around an excellent tire! On my 2nd set. A little pricey, but that extra bit of confidence in the wet weather is worth every extra cent to me.

As for me, I cast my vote for the BFG g-Force T/As. Just put them through the rain on the freeway in CA and they held up great...almost like the All-Terrain T/As that I run on my old Jeep. Again, pricey, but worth it.

I used to have those on a Mustang GT convertible. I Liked them very much. Although I disliked the car.

Mine took about an hour to do just because I didn't know what I was doing going into it. Just take the trim off your side pillars (pain in the @$$) but once thats off it will just pop up with a little bit of force. It is just velcrowed down. Its not that hard to do just watch your fingers taking off the trim. Also keep looking on
Ebay for a little bit I got mine for $10 but the shipping was $20 because the guy had to make a box for it so it wouldn't get cracked. I'm sure if you look for a little longer you can get one for an even better price than the one I put the link up for. Good Luck!

g-force comes in three diff models, the Kd, the Kdw, and the kdws.... the kdw's are the pic of f body owners that run as everyday drivers.. the g-force kd's are not made to drive aggresively at all in the rain..they are a dry traction tire. the kdw's have the same tread pattern as the old comp t/A zr's.

I'm runnin' the KDW's. Couldn't see a reason to get the KD's and the KDWS' didn't offer enough of a performance edge to me. I realize the KDW is similar to the Comp T/A ZR, but the slight differences make the g-Force T/A KDW worth it. Just MHO.
