NEVER GET SPEC!!!
They're Customer service is Trash. I went through 2 Spec clutches in 3 months. The worse clutches ever and if you happen to question they're product they will blame you that you installed something wrong.
I say go with the DF from Centerforce or something. If it was an LSx engine I would never recommend anything more than the LS7 Clutch.
Like I said, Just about every story Spec that i have read is -
Except the guys that are running the stage 3+ setups but thats not for DD.Eddie

I gotta tell ya man, I went with another stock clutch and new flywheel from GM and couldnt be happier. I have minor bolt-ons including gears and better tires and it has held up for 40k miles and still going strong. Thats with alot of WOT and burnouts. But if you are going aftermarket, I was told DF centerforce.1996 Z-28 6 speed, Airfoil, K&N FIPK, Flowmaster muffler, Motive 3.73 gears, BBK shorty headers, cut-out, LS1 Driveshaft, no power options (Rare), Prothane tranny mount, MSD 8.5mm wires, Accel U-Groove Plugs, Chrome hurst short throw, TB Bypass, ES Torque arm mount, BMR subframe connectors (weld-in), Lt4 Knock Module, Descreened MAF, '02 SS wheels, Pioneer HU, MTX & JL amps, 2 12" JBL's, T-Top Conversion!
