    1. Gone in 60 Seconds (new one)

    2. The Wraith

    3. Not really a car movie, but The Rock for when Nick Cage was buzzing around in that Ferarri F355 in a car chase. I love the sound of Ferarris.

2000 Black Camaro w/3800 V6. Hotchkis STB, Whisper Lid, K&N, Flowmaster exhaust.

I am really surprised to see The Wraith posted so many times. I remember when it came out, and I just bought the DVD and watched it last week for the first time in over 10 years. The Dodge prototype was pretty cool; too bad they didn't build it Goodness, that was at the time when my best friend was sporting his black '84 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z when we were in high school...I had the big bad '79 T/A. The Old Denver Highway in Monument, CO was pretty much abandoned and the drag strip at that time. It was also a time when the Camaro/Firebird club ruled the school before the days of ricers. The movie made me feel old when I watched it the other night

      '79 T/A: WS6, 400 4sp, 40K miles; Completely stock and original
'87 Lifted 3/4 ton Suburban (Big Blue) plow truck
'94 Roadmaster Wagon (The Roadmonster) 200,000 miles and still going
      '97 T/A: (SLP 1LE Suspension, SB, & sfc(s), Loudmouth); 4.10s; B&M Ripper; R/A Hood; ZR1s
My daily drivers: '06 Jeep Liberty CRD (wife); '01 Yukon Denali XL (me); '03 Stratus Coupe (me)

Never heard of the The Wraith before. I guess I have to look into that one. There were a couple more mentioned that I haven't seen in a long time. Hope they are out on DVD.

I first saw The Wraith a couple of years ago, caught parts of it. Found it on DVD and scooped it up. I've always loved car shows and movies, but had never heard of The Wraith until then. It's a b-movie for sure, but it has a better storyline than the original fast and furious and even the slowest pickup truck in Wraith could outrun that POS Eclipse

Too bad you would have surely enjoyed that. I noticed the sticker on the left bottom of the windshield. It's for autobahn taxes in Switzerland. So I wondered if you were actually lucky enough to have been there. Allthough in Switzerland the speed limit is 75 mph.

That's why we used to take our bikes across to Germany to run them them flat out on the Autobahn. A couple of times I ran all the way up to Denmark and Sweden with my car on the Autobahn. A roughly 10 hour ride and most of it was at the time no speed limit, i.e. pedal to the metal. My 2 liter 4 cylinder Opel was going 115 mph.

There you think you are flying until you notice some highbeam in the rearview mirror closing in fast. You pull into the other lane and a Porsche, Bimmer or Mercedes would fly past you like you were standing still.

I would love to take my T/A there for a spin. No worries about State Troopers.
