    Is this Cheating?

    so i wanna upgrade my brakes but i can't afford to go to baer, or wilwood or anything like that. i was wondering if i went to a junkyard and just got the brackets off of a vette (if i can find one) and then just bought new calipers and rotors and what not. will that idea work? bearing i have the new rear to handle disc brakes??

    You still need the adapters and some sawing of the original to make them work. OR get the LS1 brakes. I got mine off ebay including spindles, rotors ,calipers etc for about $300 for my 95 Z28

        wow thats awesome im only like 30 min from PA so ill save the S&H and just piuck them up. thanks a whole bunch man i appreciate it. what year is C5 vettes? im sorry i never really looked into vettes. and ill need pads, rotors, cal., and hoses? and i should be good or can i just use my camaro hoses? i know it sounds cheap but in penny and nickling my car together. and every buck i can save right now is ALOT lol
