so i wanna upgrade my brakes but i can't afford to go to baer, or wilwood or anything like that. i was wondering if i went to a junkyard and just got the brackets off of a vette (if i can find one) and then just bought new calipers and rotors and what not. will that idea work? bearing i have the new rear to handle disc brakes??

You still need the adapters and some sawing of the original to make them work. OR get the LS1 brakes. I got mine off ebay including spindles, rotors ,calipers etc for about $300 for my 95 Z282000 Z28 SLP sub frames, J&M LCA's, KYB shocks, Waitforme tuning. Ported TB & intake 35/22 swaybars, Firehawk tires
