Would you pay 6000 for this car?

    V8 350
    Automatic Trans
    Bomz Racing Seats
    K&N Air Filter + Intake
    Flowmaster 2.5" Dual Rear
    Sport Comp Tach+Shift Light
    Hypertech Chip
    MSD Super Conductor Ignition System
Rebuilt 350 and trans with shift kit and stall converter
    T-Tops(no leak)

    The Catch?

    150000 miles on the body

Good Condition, have seen exterior up close and is damn near PERFECT.

Nope. Maybe if it were an unmodied, completely stock pristine example. Right off the bat i can tell this has been driven hard. The trans is incorrect, lots of "racing type" parts would make me run away. Nice color though. 94?

and 150,000 miles on the body isn't anything. Mine has almost 230,000 and still looks great.

$2500 max I would pay. The JUMBO ricer tach meant that car was rode hard and put away wet.
2000 Z28 SLP sub frames, J&M LCA's, KYB shocks, Waitforme tuning. Ported TB & intake 35/22 swaybars, Firehawk tires

        I'll haggle off...oh..4 grand..

But really the guy who had it before was turning it into some drag car before he got his girlfriend pregnant. Gave it up. I'll take it for a test drive and see if its even worth 2500.

Thanks a million guys. [keep posting, its fun]

and its a 1995, same color as my current 94.. only way to tell is, look at the hazard lights, or the running lights on the front corners. 95 is clear, 94 is orange

Chevy never made clear corners for a 95. In fact, they never made any clear corners for 93-97. that must be aftermarket.

Now there was a change in tail light coloring, I cannot remember when the chage was.... I was thinking 96?

              Mighty6,

              I'd do this:

Go back and ask the seller: "How many of these cars did you say I'd get for $6k? again?.......

                I can't answer.

About the clear corners, I actually was looking for physical things different, looked at your signature and then this car, noticed. I never noticed before then.

The clear ones must add horsepower

Haha, yeah I'm gonna go rip them out about it. Or find the previous owner and ask how much he sold it to them for.

As Joe said, GM never put clear corners on a 93-97 from the factory.,

MSD "Super Conductors" are a set of spark plug wires, not an "ignition system".

Unless its a 93, it can't have a "Hypertech chip".... do they possibly mean a Hypertech "module", or a Hypertech PP+ is included? Either way it doesn't matter, because the Hypertech stuff for the LT1 is useless.

The "Bomz" racing seats are simply very low $ ricer seat replacments.... not true "racing" seats, not certified by any real racing organization. At prices like $175 per seat, you are going to get much in the way of an "upgrade".

well hey thank you man, I honestly don't know a lot about legit racing or cars. I'm only 18 and I'm still learning these things, I just know the difference between a ricer and my f-body. I quoted those upgrades from the seller's email to me, and I did not even see under the hood. I did know that MSD does Spark Plug wires but I wasn't sure if something else was meant when they said "Ignition System".

Thanks injuneer for the added feedback.

MSD also makes a high performance coil, a multiple-spark igntion box, and a "billet" replacement Optispark distributor for the LT1. But no-ne of them is necessary with the limited mods on that car. The MSD Opti may even cause more problems than it cures.

They never made clear corners on the Camaro, period! (thank god) 97-2002 they added the ugly amber section to the tail lights. 97 is the only LT1 with amber/red/white lights.

That car looks like trouble to happen. You could EASILY get an LS1 for that price.
