Even though the rubber compound is pretty unfair at low temps, the KDW, specifically with the second generation tread, is the best performance tire for something that might get caught in the rain.
THey also come with that cool little rim protector lip mentioned earlier

    With questionable guts:
    Forged bottom end
    free flowing 3 1/2" exhaust w/
    pacesetter longtubes
T56 with a 6 puck ceramic copper heavy duty clutch
    Built T56, 3.5" 4130 driveshaft w/spicer HD's
    K&N RAM air from 96 ws6
    96? ws6 hood
    96? ws6 spoiler
    full emissions delete
polished heads with oversize valve job
    Edelbrock IAS shocks
Full tubular Chassis minus k member
Daily Driver and love it that way
Motor is not what you'd think.

I'll have to disagree, to an extent. I'm not sure about the 2nd Gen KDW, but I have used both the 1st Gen KDW and the Wide Oval. My money is on the Wide Oval, both in wet and dry conditions. And yes, the Wide Oval has the rim protector too.

I have never tried the wide oval but have heard some good things from a few people. I guess this would be a matter of identifying bad choices over picking between the good ones haha

Firestone Wide Oval if they come in your size.

Issues with quality on Goodyear? LOL... he's full of it. Over priced, yes, .....dry traction not up to par? yes......... quality: fine.

Now you tell me. Four Continentals installed 8 days ago.

They'll work, considering how little -- and how -- I drive.
