sob blah blah blah. " That is a glimpse of your reality and I am thankful that the rest of us don't share that sentiment. I also pray to God that your view doesn't spread like a cancer. Some Children are forced to grow up faster than they should, often times killing their creativity and imagination. Book smarts aren't the only thing there is to life, it is life's experiences that triumph over all. Yes your views are in some ways different, not so much in an absolute reality, but seriously different and lacking in what could be described as genuine compassion. I for one, will remember this thread for the rest of my life and will use it as an example of how chilren should not have the burdon of reality forced onto them too soon.
By the way, I can remember when I found out that Santa wasn't real. It wasn't any sort of traumatic experience, I didn't resent my parents for making it up, I had more fun truely believing in him as a child than pretending. It is much like owning and racing a 10 second car instead of simply pretending to have actually done it.
