I dunno....I think I would rather have either a C5 or a highly modded SS or WS6 for that kind of money. Just my $0.02
    It has Recaro race seats.

Don't you have to have a racing license to buy a Cobra R?

It's a Ford that puts out a likely underrated 385 HP... has a 5.4L V8... runs the quarter mile in the 12's... achieves over 1 g of lateral accelration on the skidpad... was one of only 300 ever produced... holds onto its value like an angry pit bull... has sidepipes... has brembro brakes... and above all else - come on man - it is seriously bad ass. Every company in the world is capable of making a sweet ride, give credit where credit is due. This thing is awesome.

I suppose the Lightning or GT are nothing special either?

No offense intended, but haven't some of you folks been the same ones dissing the new GTO?? Maybe I am in the minority, but I odn't really like the look with that big butt spoiler and the snow plow on the front. Just my humble opinion though.

I agree that the Mustang GT is nothing "special"... but I do think it is pretty cool.

What I was actually referring to though, was the GT -- maybe you know it as the GT40...

                  5.4L supercharged V8, 500 HP... 11 second quarter miles... a true supercar.

Are you guys kidding about the racing license?

Im no Ford fan, but that sounds like a badA$$ ride. The front ground effects are a little gaudy though.

yeah i agree... the $150,000 Ford GT (not mustang) is one bad car. It was on the cover of some moter magazine i think, and it soundly trounced a $100,000 porsche and $200,000 ferrari. With the exception of perhaps a 69 mach1, 64-1/2 fastback or the original 1968 GT40, its the coolest, fastest, meanest looking car to ever come out of fomoco.

If I were to ever get a car over 100 grand, that one would be on the top of the list.
