The problem with the K&N that Mikle posted is that it isn't the LT1 f-body version. That is either an LS1 or LT1 vette version. The LT1 f-body K&N uses a different configuration that some have not been as happy with. The SLP version is METAL and not plastic, is a great fitting and lasting part. It follows the same contour as the stock tubing, splitting into two smaller tubes after the elbow or MAF and ending in two K&N filters relocated into the area just below the factory airbox. There is also a block off plate to seal the filters from the hot underhood air.
