I ran a search on this and could not find my answer - so here goes! Since I have the ram air option do I just want a K&N filter? Or do I still want a CAI kit? I was just going to get a K&N filter but started seeing "Whisper lid" in many of your sigs? I don't plan on going crazy with mods....well not yet at least! But I have always tinkered with the exhaust and intake - just never had a WS6 before so not sure what to do with it.

Thanks - I just didn't know if the CAI kits out there were an "upgrade" or at least enough of an upgrade to be worth doing.Silver 02 WS-6, 6 speed, Corsa cat-back, SLP lid, K&N filter, BMR STB, !CAGs, Lou's short stick, MSD wires, MTI "Hammer" cam, ASP underdrive pulley, Hooker LTs, Hooker ORY, Comp 918s, TR pushrods, UMI Sfcs, UMI LCAs, NGK TR55s, Hotchkis springs

Oh no no... you DO want to do the "Whisper Lid"...
It is a VERY simple mod. Just pluck the factory airbox lid off, and secure the less restrictive lid in place. Whisper makes one, so does SLP, and I have the MTI lid.
This is a very easy and cheap mod, and it is worth doing.Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.
