This question pertains to a 95 Z28 6 spd. A few days ago I was taking a U-turn and decided to get on it for some strange reason. Well, the rear end swung around and slammed into a curb. I busted a rim and the rotor as well. I replaced both of them and now my wheel wobbles as I go (it is quite noticeable). I can also hear a light grinding noise every revolution. The noise sounds like it is coming from the wheel area and not the posi. So I guess my question is, does it sound like a bend axle shaft? If not, what else could it be? Could the grinding noise be a busted wheel bearing, the shaft rubbing the housing, or the rotor rubbing the brake pads because of the bent shaft? I found a place where I can get a used shaft for like 80 bucks shipped. I've never done any drivetrain work, so any tips would also be helpful.
Thanks,
Aaron
